I have a Brother Project Runway CE5500PRW that came with the quilting attachment for free motion quilting. However, it did not come with one of the hoops I have seen others use for quilting small areas and doing small applique work. Can one be used with this machine and if so, what type would I need to buy?

i free motion applique without a hoop, never used one.i don't think a hoop is needed for applique, if it is, I've done over 400 appliques without a hoop
