    Default Color Catchers

Hi...Just wondering if you can re-use Color Catchers if they came out of the washer with no color on them??

I am not trying to be cheap...just thrifty

I just didn't know if they can be reused or not. I would hate to reuse them and they didn't "catch" the color on the next quilt. Or could I put one new and one used in the washer?

    Thanks everyone for your input/help.

I reuse mine. They still pick up "dyes."

I re-use them several times or until they pick up some color. Most times I will put in 1 new one and 1 used one, or I will re-use them when I do laundry.

I'm not sure which ones you are using but I have been "thrifty" not cheap and cut them in half for baby sized quilts.

I'm with Katier825 I always put anew one in. If it has a lot of red , navy and black I make sur ewith 2 more. Going to add green to this as just had trouble with a green batic spoiling a quilt.
