I know there is a way to do pinwheel seams where the center seams look like a small 4 patch square. Does anyone how to do that?

Right now no matter how I press the seam I get a bunched up mess in the center.

you need to undo the stitching back to where the seams meet. Then press the seams in the same direction.. like a pinwheel.

Right. Open up the seams only to where they meet, and then use a pencil eraser and twist it clockwise. You can use your fingertip, but the pencil eraser works really nice. After they are laying flat, press everything. It does help take the bump out of the center. :D
