Oh, thank you Crafty. So timely! Just when I'm having problems joining seams where points of Flying Geese meet!
One help was remembering that someone used a hammer to "mash" the intersection! Worked quite well. Then I re-read a Sally Collins book and now you have all of these ideas!
So far I'm finding that the open seam method is the only way to go!
