Default Quilting Frame

Can you mount a regular sewing machine on a quilting frame? I have taken several FMQ classes and can't seem to get the hand of it on my sewing machine. I don't have the budget for a mid arm or long arm machine. Just wondering if using a regular sewing machine on a frame is an option. Do you need to special frame?

I should mention that I only make baby quilts and lap quilts.

Check Ken Lund on u-tube. He has a frame the is about $100. that looks promising. Thinking of getting one myself.

i used a Juki 2010q on my frame. I could only quilt about 4" high, which isn't much. So I would not use a smaller machine than that.

I watched the Ken Lund video and thought it was interesting. However you are still moving the quilt, which is similar to FMQ. I prefer methods where you move the machine. I found another video where you can put the machine on a dolly. It's called Renae's Dolly Method. Has anyone tried this?
