Hope one of you [or more] can help me out. I have given a little thought to buying a quilting frame that I could use with my sewing machine. Does anyone use a frame or know something about them. I see the Flynn Quilt Frame adverttised in American Quilter...know anything about them? I wonder if they could be used with a quenn size quilt. I would love to have a long arm set-up but just can't justify spending so much. Thanks to all.

I haven't heard too many great things about the Flynn system.
Do a search as I know there are some topics here.

I have a Super Quilter system which I love but can not take with me when I move. It uses a table that you already have and your machine. I have had several people interested, but the shipping is odd because of the large size of the bars. where are you located?

It is the one pictured here:

You can make up to King size with it.

I had the Flynn system before I got my mid-arm and could do full size easy, as long as you have a large table, I would put a 6 ft. table with my kitchen table and it worked fine. So it works well if you don't have room for a large frame.

I wish you were closer. I would let you try it for a while. It is great but I can not picture an apartment in NYC with enough room for it.

Thank you for the suggestion of posting a message. Sorry I didn't even get it spelled right....been a long day. And thank you so very much for the link that critiques the frames. It is so good to learn from others of what they like and dislike.

That would be so nice to try one out before buying. I have plenty of room for a large frame, just need yo know if I could handle one for quilting.
