On the quilt while it's being quilted? In the house?

I've been flirting with basting spray for a while. It's the 505 I'd buy. But ... I know the instructions say to use the spray in a well ventilated area. I have no outdoor space for laying out and basting my quilts, so I'd have to use the spray in my living area. I do have big windows I can throw open but I wouldn't want my place to smell like it's just been painted...

What's been your experience if you've used the 505 indoors?

I open the windows and put a fan in one blowing outside when I am done. The smell goes away within a very short time.

I use 505 spray in my laundry room and I haven't had any smell and if there is, it isn't smelly for long no more than hairspray.

I use a different spray, don't notice the smell after a short amount of time. Have used 505, but not available here that I have found.

I haven't noticed any smell at all with the 505; and even use it with the doors and windows closed in the wintertime.

I use the 505 in doors all the time. I sandwich my quilts on tables at church. Of all the basting sprays, 505 is the least smelling one out there. It does not linger, will not gag you, (unless you concentrate spray and stick your face in it) There is no smell whatsoever as you are quilting. It's great stuff.

It doesn't linger very long. I open my front door and it goes away quickly.
