That's what I'd do if it were mine. You did a beautiful job making it. Best wishes with whatever you decide to do.

The center block is a desert corsage found at quilter's cache http://www.quilterscache.com/D/DesertCorsageBlock.html.
I was inspired by this pattern from quilting bug http://quiltbug.com/free/table-topper.htm, however the 9 1/2" strip was too short after adding the first 9 1/2" strip. With trial and error, I increased the strip size to 11 1/2" because I did not want to cut off the points of the center block. If you replace the 9 1/2" increments for strips in the pattern with 11 1/2" strips you will be good to go. Other than that one change I followed the pattern exactly. There is some waste at the end but I rather waste a little fabric than cut off the tips of my center block that I paper pieced.

Thank you for all of the suggestions. I am glad that stitch in the ditch won't be too generic. I am going to echo quilt the center "Flower" and then stitch in the ditch. I would love to get better with fmq but this project is not one to practice on. If you have any questions feel free to private message me.

Thanks again,
~Alicia

I just wanted to say the table runner is beautiful. I'm such a novice I'd have to echo quilt by hand the center flower. I hope you'll post a picture of the finished product.

SID is appropriate. You can draw on paper or plastic to figure out how you may want to embellish it further.

Your table runner is beautiful! I truly think stitch n the ditch is the way to go on this one. Hand stitching would look nice too!

Stitch in the ditch would be great. You want to showcase your lovely piecing work!
