i have thier apple core pattern from them. i like the way it is turning out..i keep it in my 5th wheel..as an on going project.

I highly recommend them. I've made some of her patterns and loved them. I've corresponded with Mattie a few times and found her to be genuinely warm and friendly. She takes great pride in her products and her biggest concern is always that her customers are happy with them.

We had a workshop at a guild retreat a few years back. I finished a small DWR but didn't have enough of any of the fabrics to make it any larger. :( It is crib size. So I guess some baby will get a cute quilt. I did it in green and orange and I do have enough of the orange for the binding. Maybe that should be the next UFO. It doesn't need much to finish, I would just have to do it!
I do remember needing to buy the hemostat for turning the tubes, they weren't expensive but definitely helpful. I've used them a lot since then.
I'd say go for it, especially if you want to finish what could be a more difficult pattern.

Lovely quilt!
Interesting product. Question, how easy is it to peel back after ironed? I would trim all the excess ever time not just on the yellow as she did in the video.
I was however not thrilled with the raw edge in the video between row one and row two.
How lightweight is it? Does the quilt feel stiff?

I have never seen this before. Thanks for sharing. I don't think it is cheating when you wind up with a beautiful quilt. I definitely going to buy one of the kits and try it.

I dont think it is cheating. But as a longarmer, the interfacing stuff stays in there and it is thicker to quilt. you cant hand quilt it. If you send it out tell your longarmer. may make a difference on how it is quilted. I usually dont do very small quilting on these types of quilts, just makes them stiffer.

I didn't have any trouble quilting mine. I know of a lady who took out the interfacing, how I don't know as that stuff really doesn't tear that easy. It's not cheating at all as you still are piecing. It's just a new kind of way to do it. Every one have a great day, Huggies, Fay

I haven't used the product, but from watching the video, there are lines behind those raw edges, so I think the next step probably is to fold it at this point and stitch a 1/4" seam on the lines to enclose those raw edges.
