    Jerrie, the jean rag quilt I did was camoflage flannel on back and jean
    on front, its heavy enough with nothing in between. Did 9 inch squares
    and sewed an x thru each one.

    ok thanks i seen the X sewed on the square. Is the X sewed on each square

    Who made the quilt that was part flannel and part denim.....it was a great ideA and I would like to check it out again. I know it was posted on the forum some where; but I can't seem to find it HELP :D

    Ruth, Flying V, made a very nice jean quilt, but I can't remember if it was a rag or not, I think it wasn't.

    I have made several rag quilts. In most of them I used cotton on front and back and flannel in the middle. I used a 7 in sq. and about a 3/4 in. seam. I did not sew the x in the middle and they all came out great. Here is a pic of one of the ones done with cotton.
