Default I am free motion quilting my vintage/new quilt!

It isn't really a new quilt, only parts of it are new. I got the 9 patches at an auction last year. A 94 year old woman made a lot of pieces that she didn't put together. These were part of the lot. I am free motion quilting it with my Janome 6300, a great machine!!!

Very nice. I have a 9700 and love it. Janome is a very good machine! Happy quilting.

Glad you are having fun with your quilt. Are you FMQ with the foot you have pictured?

How pretty. I love the white with those 9 patches.

Can not wait to see pictures of your quilt when you have finished the FMQ!

I think you'll love the new and old look to the quilt! It's really lovely and would make an older lady so happy that you finished it up.

Yes, I forgot to take the foot off, but I just did, because it was dragging!!! I couldn't figure out at first why the quilt was dragging, and then I was like - YIKES!!! Hope I didn't do any damage!!

I am up near Queensbury/Lake George area. If anyone is into modern quilts, I am starting a Modern Quilt chapter up near me, just let me know if you want to join us!
Thanks,
Nancy
