Hey there,

I'm working on a new baby quilt for a friend who just had a little boy. My friends LOVE the St Louis Cardinals, so I was thinking of getting red and blue fabric and then doing some embroidery patches on a white background.

I wanted to so something that was just an outline redwork type image. I've been looking but haven't found exactly what I was looking for yet.

If anyone has ideas or something they might have used for this type of thing already please let me know. :)

Something like this with baseball theme players might work for you. Just google some colouring pages & use those as outlines, maybe?

If you google baseball and click on images, and then line drawing or clip art, you might find some good simple images suitable for redwork. You can also check in coloring books, and can sometimes even find them online.

Ohh wow is it really that easy? I don't have to buy a specific pattern??? I know I sound like an idiot...but I've never just looked for clip art before to use? Am I missing something? :)

Are you wanting to hand embroider or machine embroider? If by machine, there are lots of redwork designs available. For example, Designsbysick.com has these redwork baseball deigns for $1.00.
