Remember when we use to get good free stuff in quilt mail?
[ATTACH=CONFIG]549102[/ATTACH] I was cleaning a few drawers in my sewing room and found these. Anyone remember getting one or a dozen? LOL One time at Paducah a lady was wearing them as earrings. It was hilarious because everyone had at least two or more.

I remember. i remember getting free rotary cutters in the mail if you bought a book on rotary cutting back when they first came out in the early 80's I think it was. AND, i still have them. i'm too cheap to buy a new one. it still works and now i spend my cash on fabric. I got 3 of them in the mail!!!!
I remember the hera marker too, and turny things to poke out corners in sewing collars too. Plus quilt journal books in the late 70's. Oh...the good old days.

I use the hera marker instead of a pencil when I cut hsts from squares. The crease line is easy to see to sew straight.
Other freebies I remember were quilting stencils. Also in the poly stuffing there was either a tape measure or wooden turner/poker.
