Other freebies I remember were quilting stencils. Also in the poly stuffing there was either a tape measure or wooden turner/poker.
There was a wooden turner/poker in the last bag of poly stuffing I bought... Free stuff lives on!

I do remember getting those free in some quilt mail. Guess there's not much free any more except unsolicited advice maybe.

I never got free stuff! I inherited my mom's hera marker; it's made out of bone and marks stitching lines really well.
