    Default Rising Star quilt

Has anyone made this quilt? I'm going on retreat and don't want to sew on a complicated pattern. This seems simple and will use less of my concentration. I'd like to see different layouts and colors.

I'm thinking of a marbly gray for the background and white dotted swiss (vintage, nothing else to do with it) fabric for the stars. I think it will look like winter.

It looks pretty simple, but if you're worried about it you could make a test block before you go.

Sorry, I went off to see the video and by the time I got back I forgot what the question was. I tried a search but didn't find many examples.

I have made that quilt and it is super easy and fast. I used navy blue as the main fabric and scraps as the other pieces. It is one of the easiest patterns I have ever done. I did not even sew borders, just made it the size I wanted.

Thanks! There aren't many pictures of this quilt.

It doesn't look too complicated - I think I'd make a block before taking it all to create elsewhere.

I think your plan would make a pretty quilt. Pinterest has a few different examples, not many but I think your Winter quilt will be beautiful. Post after you make it.
