    Yes! I have the rotating mat and love mine. Espec. if you are working on some detail and need to cut off corners, etc. I keep mine next to me sewing and lay the block on it and cut:)). What is nice is you don't have to keep picking up your block to rotate it to cut other sides. I just have to train 'me' sometimes to remember that:)). Espec. the smaller blocks w/much detail. I thought of the lazy susan too, but, mine has too much movement in it and thought it might try to turn on me cutting. Lucky for those that have good ones:). The mat does not easily rotate and doesn't move when you cut. Invest-you won't be sorry!:))Can pick them up at 50% off sales, even online. Skeat
