4X8 olfa, 4X16 for piecing, an O'Lipfa (edge lip) ruler that is 4X36 for large pieces of fabric and binding strips. I also use the rolling ruler by Fiskars but it no longer availbe in US.

With the last rule it is push down the palm piece then forward, safe for kids and adults, no blade exposure. It has this thin soft rubber that keeps the ruler from slipping as well.

The other ruler I use the most is the Olipfa 6X24. Olipfa is made for Olfa and designed by them as well. They have ridges on the bottom to stop slippage.

Quilt expos are a good place to find all in one place but isn't the cheapest way to go. Internet saves a lot of driving. Good Luck sounds like a full schedule.

For flying geese I have found nothing as accurate as Quilt in A Day. My last quilt had way over 300.
    works great.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Olfa frosted rulers!!
Here's a link to the US site: http://www.olfa.com/RulersList.aspx?C=66

    I don't need a TON of rulers because I make 90% of my cuts with the Quilt Cut2 - again, here's a link: http://www.quiltcut.com/

    I have a 1" x 6" ruler I also use quite often.

Enjoy your trip to the US and be sure to stock up. When I lived in Bali and Panama, it was extremely difficult to find much of anything of any quality.

I really like my Olfa mat. The only one I use. Also I like the 15" square ruler and use it a lot.

6"x24"; 4"x14"; 12"x12". I have many, many more hanging on the wall, but these are the three that I keep within arm's reach. I find that I can get almost any shape from these. Whenever possible, I purchase Omnigrid rulers because the yellow markings are easier on these old tired eyes LOL
