Congratulations on a great find. You'll have so much fun looking through those magazines and getting inspired to make new quilts. And, as you said, if you don't wind up keeping some of them, you can donate them back to the church so they can sell them again. Good way to recycle.

what a great find, I do the same thing, beside church, we have a books or magazines sales by the County's Library! early bird, catches the early goodies ( Mags, books, etc.) enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!<3

What a great library of information you just saved. I also like to collect old quilting magazines and I know I will never make all the patterns but there quilting motifs and old style instructions that sometimes work better than the new way. Old patterns are wonderful to update in todays fabrics.

Just last weekend I started a quilt from a pattern I found in a1989 QNM mag #212. The pattern is called Celtic Squares. I converted the pattern to PPing. I am using a poppy fabric and poppy colored accents. Quite modern. I will post pictures over the coming weekend.

You did great! I would love for you to post your first choice as you browse through your treasure.
