Update on my machine. Technician said it wasn't far out of time and relatively clean inside. My ribbon cable had a bad crack in it so he put a new one of those on, but the stitch regulator was not working. Hopefully they will be shipped Monday. I purchased the HQGlide foot and they put it on. Hate to see my bill!
