    San Francisco Quilt Shops

    I am going to be in San Francisco next month for a few days can someone please tell me of some quilt shops, I searched but really did not find anything interesting. Thank you

    Well, I don't know what to tell you. I think there is/was a quilting fabric store I heard good things about, but I can't find it now online. I did find this:

    and I can also tell you that Britex is not very rewarding for quilters, although it is well-known for fabric. Hopefully someone else will chime in with more suggestions...
    People who start projects and never finish them are cooler

    I don't have any thoughts on the San Francisco quilt shops, but LUCKY YOU!! I just LOVE San Francisco!!

    Will you be staying in San Francisco only? I know of several near where I live on the SF Peninsula (south of SF), and several more in the East Bay. If you will be in those areas, let me know, and I can get you some addresses.

    Britex in Union Square is awesome. Four floors of fabric - don't miss it. Not all is for quilting but it is a wonderful place.
