    I use rotary cutters for long straight cuts and scissors for cutting shapes and trimming.

    Rotary cutter for me too. I use my small scissors for cutting the threads when I assembly line sew blocks.
    Big scissors barely get used... unless someone else in the house can't find the house scissors. Then I have a fit if they're missing. Grrrrrr...

    I watched a video of a guy using the Go Baby and it looked like quit a job hand cranking the material thru there. Of course when he got done he has some nice looking pieces but I thot it looked like the machine wanted to move some when he was cranking it.

    I use Rotary Cutter for quilts as well as some small projects like hot pads. Scissors I use when I make clothes--or a project with curved cuts.
