These are wonderful colors for a male - so bold, yet simple to look at. I'm not all dizzy with this one. Great job!

I think the idea of shirts from brothers,father, grandfather and uncles as well as dad would be a great idea.

I would just pick out scraps of 'man' colors, choose a scrappy pattern I like and make him a quilt.
Fortunately for me I make mostly Great Granddaughters quilts these days. We have three and one Great Grandson, his Mom doesn't like quilts, he only has one.
I have a Granddaughter in law that loves my quilts and will take any color and any pattern I give her or make her. So that is easy.
I am in the process of making a quilt for their queen size camper bed, I am hoping that is the last big one I make.
