i have had my Gem Gold since 2004, and really love it's size. When I travel to my childrens house it goes with me in the car, as I always have something to work on at their house. I also take it to quilt classes and to friends house to sew. Great little machine. And so easy to work with.

Two of the girls in our quilting group have it and love it. One bought it for her RV and travel but now uses it each week for class. Both say it does all they need. They're pleased.

I have Janome Sew-Mini. It's only 5 pounds, which is the reason I bought it. Looks like a kids sewing machine, it's fast stitch is slow, but very even, came with out a light, is a bit noisy, and has only one presser foot. But it is perfect to carry to guild meetings or classe. It was priced right, too, so I drop it and it breaks, I'll only be a little heart broken.
