Hi secret pal, I would like to thank you so very much for the box of fabric and gifts, I am glad you gave me a pack of tissue, because by the time I was don with your note and the gifts I was crying and I don't have tissues. :-) when I came acrossed the fabric white with the fish and crosses on it, at first I wanted to make me a bible cover with a long handle so I can through it over my head when I use my walker. but I don't do good with white and it is so beautiful I did not want to wreck it. and then It dawned on me what I am going to do with it. I have been wanting to make a quilt for the church to raffle off to put money into a found for people who don't have money like me, so when there is a church function that requiers money it will be covered without the person being embarrest. on May 4th the church paid my way for a church retreat for 2 days. I have never been to anything like that, and it was so much fun, I could not do the activities but just to have that closeness and getting to know everyone was such a treat, that I want everyone to be able to expereince something like that if they chose. I all ready have the vision in my head on what I want it to look like. so when I am done with it I will post a picture so you can see. I have a few things I have to get done before I start on it, so It will be a little bit maybe a month. thank you so very much and God bless. Penny

What a lovely thing to have happen. Your idea of a raffle quilt sounds wonderful. Look forward to seeing it when it's done.

    Penny,
What a marvelous gift from someone. It's bringing a tear to my eye and I don't have a tissue on hand. You are such an angel yourself and I know one time you wrote that you couldn't ever 'pay it forward' financially, but you give back more than you ever know!

It sounds like you have the perfect quilt angel. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with that special fabric. Giving of yourself sometimes is better than giving money. That's paying it forward. I'm sure you're a very giving person & the church knows this. I'm glad you got to go to the church retreat.

I am anxious to see what you make for the raffle quilt, I am sure it will raise lots of $$ for the church fund. Blessings to you and your angel.
