Frankly, I would love to see a list on the QB of OSMG who may not be as easy to find now. I am limited to several shops that aren't really close and I bet there are more guys working out of their homes who are hard to find.

Even if someone is a prominant member of the QB there is no guarantee s(he) is reputable. Finding a good OSMG is becoming as hard as finding a good mechanic or Dr. Maybe the QB can post names of those OSMG members wishing to market themselves and include a customer rating/comment system? This thread was started with many good points to consider when having our machines serviced. Thanks to the many generous people who have shared their expertise on QB I have learned a lot by lurking around here and plan to start cleaning up some of my machines when the weather warms up. I don't think I'll send any machines out for service after having seen how packages can be mishandled during shipping.
