Guess it will have to do. After church tomorrow I might start # 8 a beautiful purple Gladiola. Just hope I can do it justice.

Did you buy a kit for these glorious squares or are you winging it and doing your own thing. Looks to me like small square for background with applique over that. Yes??? They are just beautiful. I want to do a dahlia quilt that way. Thanks for sharing pics!

I did buy the kit a block at a time. I just never had time to work on it. Especially since I didn't do much all winter. It's been all there in a box waiting for the opportunity since the last block came about 6 months ago. This is the link to the entire quilt.

Your very welcome. I have 4 of those done. Eight more to go. Wish I had them all done. I want to start on the shop hop quilt from 2008. Rocky Mountain Gold. If I thought I could get it and the rest of the blocks done by the 21st I' do it. Just don't think I got that much in me. Here is a picture of that quilt

Oh how happy this block is ... how nice. I like the new one you posted you are going to do too.

I just finished a wall hanging made with all those tiny blocks sewn together, it is a chore to cut them all. You are one determined woman to keep up this pace with it. Good for you hon.
