I have just purchased a 'new' ,machine. I have named her HONEY b/c of her color & b/c I got her as a 'honey' of a deal.
She is a Singer 301 with the carrying handle on top. I would like to have a fabric cover on her as she will be sitting out on my sewing table all the time, and then I would cover her while taking her to classes and such. (yes I got the case she origionally came with) but I will be putting her in a box on wheels to transport her in when I need to.

I would like to either purchase a ready made cover if you have one for sale, or know of some one that makes them, OR I am willing to purchase a pattern for one if you have one for sale.

Please let me know if you have either of these.
    Thanks.

Craftybear to the rescue. Here's one she found. You could piece and quilt the fabric before cutting it. I will be making one for my 301 sooner or later.http://www.spoolsewing.com/blog/imag...inepattern.pdf

I make them all the time. :) Just finished up 3 and almost done with #4. I pre-quilt all the fabric before I cut and sew the top.

Do you use batting when you do the quilting?
