I hesitate to ask, but what is wrong with that f....c word? It took me years to use that instead of material.

after what's been going on around here for the past several weeks, i totally grasp the logic of the word substitution.

I've seen some ombre batiks that would be fantastic in both designs. Just can't remember where I saw them.

Yup! Not much luck there yet for any ombre f----c, but I figure it's new-ish and early days, yet. I'm convinced it will become very popular.
What does f----c mean??????????????? LOLOLOLOL

I *Love* Ombre fabric! The 3 episodes of Sewing with Nancy originally aired last year. Have you tried equilter.com?

I saw that series a few weeks ago and that quilt is a beauty. I expect that fabric is not some of hers though.

No, I haven't, but I will. I used to tape all the sewing/quilting shows for many years (I've got hundreds of episodes, all catalogued), but then I just kind of quit watching t.v. We just got the satellite dish and DVR at the end of 2009, so thought I'd troll for sewing shows to record; that's how I found Eleanor Burns' show and Nancy and set them to record.
