    Thanks, ladies, for all your help! I ended up going back and unsewing what I had started and then clipped the seam allowance right along the stitching line and then pressed those tabs in the opposite direction. Except for having to keep those itty bitty tabs in place the resulting seam came out much nicer and flatter than before. Thanks again!

    When a pattern dosnt say which way to press I press my seams open. Dear Jane is one that dosnt tell you which way to press so I would press all seams open.
