So...I think I have finally collected enough sewing themed fabric (though I know as soon as I cut the pieces I'll find some I just "Have-To-Have"). But since I am new to quilting I have no idea what pattern to do or even what most of them are called! I was thinking maybe a "Disappearing 9 Patch" (I think that's what its called!) since I love the look of kwhite's so much and I think it would be a good choice for a second quilt since it doesn't look too difficult. What do we think? Oh, and I got this wonderful sheep knitting sweaters fabric but don't know what to do with it either.....knitting project bag? pajamas? pillowcases?

I love your fabrics. I think PJs made out of the knitting sheep fabric would be adorable and fun to wear. :)

Super cute fabrics. If you have enough sheep fabric I would make pj's and a bag, if not then I vote for pj's. As for your design, it will look nice as a D9P, since your new to quilting you may like the tutorials section on this board. I agree post pics when your done, part of the fun is seeing what we all make. Have fun!

Love the sewing theme fabrics. I really like the idea of a knitting theme carry along project bag with the knitting sheep fabric...how cute is that!!!

Very nice fabrics. I would make something for the sewing fabrics to stand out.

Great fabrics. A DNP would be great. Can't wait to see what you decide. :-D

Seeing the fabrics all laid out like you have then; bargello quilt came to mind instantly. With the sheep fabric, which is adorable, a bag came to mind. But anything you make is going to be wonderful. Looking forward to seeing photos and thank you for sharing.
