    Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could help me out with amount of fabric that I need for a wedding ring quilt. I know on this board this there must be someone that has finished a wedding ring quilt. I have been looking for a pattern but have not found one and I need to tell my friend how much fabric to buy. She wants three colors for the top, we are talking about a queen size quilt. Also what website would be good to buy a pattern? thanks everyone. She is going to be in town for Christmas and I was hoping to go shopping with her but my husband is having another heart procedure 2 days after Christmas so there goes my plans of perusing fabric shops with her. Beth

Beth, here is a link to something you may be more interested in. Go to near the middle of the page and it'll give instructions and the pattern...free and in a PDF file. A small add pops up but hit close.
This IS free and can use it right away...
    Good luck!!

If you buy the templates, they come with a book that tells yardage. I have the book. PM me if you have more questions.

Hi, slowly but surely finding my way around the board.

Maybe these would help you: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-32266-1.ht [it some Eleanor Burns info] and

PatriceJ moderator had a post from Jan.24'08: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-4208-1.htm for paper piecing a wedding ring.

I know these are not a yardage chart. Certainly, others who have made the double wedding ring will give you the guidance that you need.

Post all about it; when you can.

There are a few diffrent patterns called wedding ring. One on the ones most people think of when refering to the wedding ring is the "double wedding ring which momma-k posted, You me want to clarify with her which wedding ring pattern she wants. these are old patterns without copyrights so you should be able to find on free on the internet.
