I for one is a scrappy person, meaning using scraps wherever you can. So go for it lady, do the stash shopping and find what you think works best, that is a very cute idea you are working on. Without a doubt, you can make it work from your scrap stash. Looking forward to the finished product.

Really hope you don't mind, but I think you should try substituting the lighter pink for the pig and use the darker pink for some other part. (did I go too far?)

I'd use blue or yellow for flower center. What other colors were you considering for the box? Do audition those too.

I should go buy more fabric, shouldn't I?
The reason he is such a happy little pig is because he is sleeping on a huge slice of chocolate torte with a nice big dollop of whipping cream on top. Take that away and he won't be a happy little pig anymore.
In my opinion, anyway.

Oh Purl, you are a woman after my heart! A reason to go fabric shopping and a reverse inspiration/visual for the original box and bed!

And now I'm hungry.
