I for one is a scrappy person, meaning using scraps wherever you can. So go for it lady, do the stash shopping and find what you think works best, that is a very cute idea you are working on. Without a doubt, you can make it work from your scrap stash. Looking forward to the finished product.Originally Posted by quilter2theend
I vote you use what you have. I think any of the colors would work. USE UP THOSE SCRAPS!!

Really hope you don't mind, but I think you should try substituting the lighter pink for the pig and use the darker pink for some other part. (did I go too far?)

I should go buy more fabric, shouldn't I?
The reason he is such a happy little pig is because he is sleeping on a huge slice of chocolate torte with a nice big dollop of whipping cream on top. Take that away and he won't be a happy little pig anymore.Originally Posted by hudgoddess
The first picture is what I want to make. I know it's not much difference, but would you use the solid blue for the flower center or the pillow print? And I'm not sold on the box colors. I should go buy more fabric, shouldn't I?
In my opinion, anyway.

Oh Purl, you are a woman after my heart! A reason to go fabric shopping and a reverse inspiration/visual for the original box and bed! Originally Posted by Purl

And now I'm hungry.
