Has anyone ever seen a pattern for a quillow that is the size of a purse and when opend it is a shopping bag. A friend of mine saw one at her Guild and the person who made it was not willing to share any info on it. What a great thing for quilt show shopping ha? It folds so small you can keep a dozen in the car.
Thank you for all the help

    Patty

I have never seen one, But, I have made many quillows. What comes to mind is downsize, and downsize again. It is very do able. Sorry she would'nt share. Why show and tell, if you are not going to share?

Wow, that would be neat. I've never seen one like this. But I agree, why show it if you can't share the pattern.

Thank you Rebbeca for your help and for taking the time to answer me.
I totally agree if you are going to show and tell than that is what you do you share. If I fgure this out and if I find someone who has made it and will share so will I. I will send it on to you.
    Again
    Thank you so much

I have never heard of such a thing at a Guild. All the ones I belonged to shared all they could.

THANK-U for giving me the courtesy of a reply to my suggestion. I have never belonged to a guild. And from everything I have heard, I don't think I'll ever consider one. I thought in Guilds you would share with your quilting sisters, Same spirit and all, (I thought). But thats ok. I have made some really good friends on this board and I'm content with that. Please do keep me in mind if you run across the pattern, and I will do the same.

Sure would not want to belong to that guild! The one I belong to is filled with people just like the ones on this board, always willing to share and help in any way they can. I thought that was the purpose of a guild.

Thanks for that web site. It showed a rolled up type bag, but would not let me open it for the way it rolled/folded up. I like the picture of that bag, But I think what Patty was talking about, is a quillow, folds up into a sq pillow, so I'm thinking that the quillow type bag, folds up like that but, is a much smaller version. I"m not sure, but I think thats the idea. With out really seeing one, I'm not sure. But thanks so much for your help.
