    Default Spiderweb blocks

Well last night I thought I was getting near the end of my blocks for my Spiderweb quilt for our queen size bed. NOOOOOO, I miss-calculated how many I needed. I need to do another 100 triangles for a total of 400. Sigh, back to the sewing machine.

Isn't that the pits. Soon you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck!

Whoa, nothing worse than thinking you are almost finished and realize you are only 3/4ths the way through.

I used Bonnie Hunter's tutorial from www.quiltville.com to draft my starting diamond. I wanted to use telephone book pages for my base so I cut 8 and 1/2 inch squares (just fit on the page)and then cut the squares in half on the diagonal. As you can see, I forgot to add the 1/4 inch seam allowance on the bottom of my starter diamond so when I sew them together, the points are going to disappear. I was well into them before I noticed but since it is just a scrap quilt for myself, I decided to continue with the way they were.
