I'm back with questions, again. I think I messed good, or bad. After you cut the wedges with the first set of strata together, do you leave that and go to the next set and cut the second set of strata the same as the first with the dark on the bottom? Or do you use the first strata, turn it and continue on with the measurements. Then use the second set of strata for all the smaller wedges. I know I am not making myself clear but I don't know really how to explain it. Or does it mean that both sets of strata are used cutting the large numbers with the dark on the bottom. Here, do you cut all the pieces like the whole thing was two long pieces cutting 2l inches to 13 1/2 wedges, turning it and cutting 12 to 3 34 inch on the opposite side? I hope someone will understand what I am trying to say. If you only lived in my mind. I'm not going to cut anymore til I understand it. Thanks Blessings Kathryn

Sadiemae, that is what I did but then got upset that I had not done it right. I guess if you have one of each measurement of each direction it will do. That's what I have been thinking since I posted above. Thanks for your help. Blessings Kathryn

It's not against copyrights to do a tutorial how the spiral cuts are made as long as the pattern pictures or text is not posted. I have the pattern but haven't made one. I can't seem to find a block of time to understand the pattern before I start.

I finally have the runner together! Believe me, if I can do it anyone will be able to. I didn't understand some of the instructions and could have used some more diagrams. I know the way I sewed it was not the way the instructions said but I couldn't figure out what they meant. I just wanted to say "thank you" to all who have contributed in all the board-talk about the sprial runner. I didn't mean that I have it completed, just the spiral together. I'm not that fast or smart. I will be making more of these. Might have to work on them next year for next Christmas. I already have some crocheted things done for this year. Again, thank you for everyone's help. Blessings Kathryn
