I was my husband to sale everything and do something he always wanted to do if I go first. If he goes then do I will stipulate that everything goes to my granddaughter.

I think they are asking if you left instructions about your stash in your will. Example, who will get it or what to do with it.

I have sure been thinking about it. My grandmother passed away thursday evening and some of her stufff just goes into the trash or went to auction. I don't have anyone who sews or quilts, so I need to really use what I have so hopefully not a lot left! It is sad to think what is left behind will be given away and I don't want my kids to go through that!

I think that if there is no one special that you want to leave your stash to, that you should leave instructions that it be given to a charity that makes quilts for kids, soldiers, or such. that way, your loved fabric will surely go to make someone happy.

Daughter gets everything so she's stuck with whatever I have accumulated. She will love it.
