As a fairly new quilter I would be grateful if anyone could tell me how to 'stack' the fabric and make the cuts so that I have the matching pieces to put back together. I went on a course for this some time back but search as I may, I cannot find the notes to use as a reminder. I am stuck at the moment with a number of blocks prepared for a project and the material to make the remaineder but I just cannot remember how to start off. Hope there is someone out there who can put me right. Thanks in anticipation.

Andrea there are different ways people stack and whack..how I was taught was you will 'whack' however many fabrics you have. My stack was 6...then you line them up even 'stacked' and then you put your ruler and cut w/rotary wherever once...then take what would be on the right side, the top piece and put on the bottom of that right stack and continue until you have 6 different 'whacks' done...then sew them together..very simple and you will love it:))Skeat

These should get you started. I just ran across a great site yesterday but did not keep it as I have Bethanys Renolds book. But when I find it I will post it for you!
