I have a big pair of fiskers spring scissors. They seem to stick now and not spring like they used to. The spring looks ok. Can these scissors be oiled?

I don't see why not - just be careful not to overdo it so that it ends up on the first piece of fabric you cut.

I wrote to fiskars and explained to them about my scissors. They said that I can lightly use 3 in 1 oil or machine oil and if that doesn't work they will send me a new spring for my scissors. I am going to let my lqs know. The other day one of the ladies that works there said that sometimes when they first take them out of the package they seem to be that way or within the first few days. And they go through alot of those scissors. I'm sure they will be happy to hear this.
