    Default FMQ with older Elna

The feed dogs on the older Elnas can be coverd with a plate that snaps over them. It has a single hole for the needle
to go through. That works on my two forty two year old Super 62 C and Super 64. If you want to locate one, try
    sewingmachinesplus.com.

slow the machine down, and/or move fabric a little faster and your stitches will be larger. I think you are haveing the machine go to fast. JMHO
