Stop the world and let me quilt!
#1
Some weeks I am finding it so hard to get some quilting time in. This week is one, work, house cleaning, visiting sick mom (I love you tho MOM!), errands...grrrrr...
I just wish I could wiggle my nose. Make time stop and relax with some soothing music and QUILT!

I had this problem years ago and decided Wednesday is MY day, I did only what was necessary for the good of the family and the rest could wait for another day.
Set a day for yourself, do what you want to do, and you will find you can handle the rest of your life
At that time, I too was visiting my mother 50 miles away once or twice a week, had to shorten that to once a week.
Others were caring for her when I wasn't there.
Take time for yourself and don't feel guilty, you owe it to yourself.

My to do LISTS (quilting and non quilting related too) keep getting longer and longer but I don't have the alloted time to work and FINISH any project....
If only we could quit working (but still have plenty of money)....give up sleep (and still be energetic)....and not cook or clean or pay bills (HEY that one's easy...get someone else to do it)
