Aren't you lucky !!!!! We've had 95-101 for the past several days. My daughter said her car registered 114 outside when she was sitting in the sun !
Enjoy the rest of your summer ! I'm looking forward to getting a lot done no matter what the weather is.

I don't get a whole lot of sewing done during the summer only because the kids are home. It's easier when the 2 older ones are gone because little man will play with his toys while I sew. The other 2 drive both of crazy.

Amen! I went without mine in 98 degree weather for four days! I wanted to throw every warming device (blankets, clothes, stove lol) out of the house! Nothing got done, it was to hot.

My other hobby is crocheting..that's too hot. I'd rather sew.

I think sewing 'in spurts' or when the weather is not behaving itself (hot or cold) is perfectly normal.

When it's winter, the wood burner is going and it doesn't kick on the furnace which warms my basement sewing area. I don't want to sew then!

With the a/c running and an extra fan blowing on me I continue to sew thru the summer. I usually piece in the summer though and quilt in the fall and winter.
