I have use it to quilt my last 2 quilts and really like it. To keep it from moving tape it down in a couple of places. Makes quilting much easer.

I'm in the love?? it category. I do notice that it sticks better to some of my machines than others. Most of the time when FMQing I use it since it definitely helps when trying to move a large quilt around esp. when I'm doing ruler work. On one of my machines I did sew through it once because it moved, but I've never had that happen with my main FMQ machine (the 1500s). The main thing that makes me ?? the love is that ever since the sewing SS to quilt episode I find myself constantly checking to make sure it hasn't moved on me even though that was on a different machine than the one I mainly use.

I have also tried using the silicone spray to make my surface slippery instead of using a SS and that worked ok, but it tends to wear off and needs to be re-applied. I also worried about the health effects of accidentally breathing in the spray and also about getting silicone spray into the oiling holes for my machine so I ended up going back to the SS for my main FMQ machine.

When I was questioning to buy or not to buy several years ago, I saw recommendations to use a non-stick oven liner. It was cheaper, so I picked one up at Walmart. I used 2 sided tape to attach rectangles of that puffy kind of shelf liner to the back of it to hold it in place on the machine. It occasionally migrates a little (one time I sewed into it), but I have found it very helpful.

I love mine, use as directed and it stays tacky on the underside. Makes FMQ much easier.

I love mine!! Use it all the time. Also bought a second one to use when I have two projects going on two different machines. Wouldn't be without it!! Yes, tape it down so you don't accidently sew through it.

I just bought one called sew and slip it was about half the price. I have only used it once for a baby quilt and it worked great. No problems with it moving.

I bought one and tried it years ago, wouldn't do it again. Wasn't impressed. I felt I wasted my money.

I have one but don't use it -it seems that my sewing bed is slippery enough. I do have the plastic extension on my machine and that helps also.

It does stick to some beds better then others. It never moves on my Brother extension bed but moves on my Bernina and the acrylic extension bed I have for other machines. I bought mine years ago and still using it.

I love mine. I wish I had bought the larger one. They suggest taping it down so it does not slide under the needle. Have had no problems with mine.
