I'm in the love?? it category. I do notice that it sticks better to some of my machines than others. Most of the time when FMQing I use it since it definitely helps when trying to move a large quilt around esp. when I'm doing ruler work. On one of my machines I did sew through it once because it moved, but I've never had that happen with my main FMQ machine (the 1500s). The main thing that makes me ?? the love is that ever since the sewing SS to quilt episode I find myself constantly checking to make sure it hasn't moved on me even though that was on a different machine than the one I mainly use.

I have also tried using the silicone spray to make my surface slippery instead of using a SS and that worked ok, but it tends to wear off and needs to be re-applied. I also worried about the health effects of accidentally breathing in the spray and also about getting silicone spray into the oiling holes for my machine so I ended up going back to the SS for my main FMQ machine.
