Default Swarvoski Hot Fix flatback crystals

I have seen a few pieces on the board where they have been used. I am curious about where they were ordered, are they hard to attach, how permanent and washproof are they? Do you know of a good source? Contemplating using some and wondered about others success or ideas or suggestions. Thank you.

    Here is a good source:

you can get a special tool, or just use a craft iron. You can also use your regular iron, but it's hard to keep them in place. They actually stay on pretty well. I've put them on kid's jeans and they washed ok.

I have bought them at Joann's. I do have the tool and would suggest you get it. It isn't very expensive. My daughters have used them mainly to decorate clothes. I have also used them on purses I have made. They are lots of fun!

i bought mine at my lqs along with the heat wand you use to attach them- i used them on my granddaughter's (Ashley's Ocean) quilt- she has had the quilt for 4 years now, it's been washed numerous times (she was 12 when she received it) and not a single crystal has fallen off. follow the instructions and they are quite easy to attach and are permenent...my lqs sold many different colors, sizes & shapes.

I buy mine from designbydawn.com. I also bought the sample card. That way I can see actual crystal colors and different sizes. Great service and I like the flat shipping charge

The ones I've used have been from the big box stores - Joanns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby. I've always used the hot fix ones (never tried the glue on ones) and they've worked great!
