Default Swoon Block

I love the Swoon Block. I see the pattern is for a 24" block. I do not like huge blocks in my quilts. Does anyone have a pattern that is made smaller--perhaps even down to a 16"? I would appreciate any help in finding this. I have googled the swoon block but can only find it in 24" block.

The swoon block just needs some minor "adjustments" from a carpenters star pattern, it wouldn't be hard to do.

Just make your blocks smaller. I used 4 1/2" blocks for the 24" block. Maybe if you used 2 1/2" blocks?

Graph it. Once you graph it on paper, you can then decide on the size of each square that forms the block. It is not that difficult. It is 8x8 squares. If you want a 16 inch block, each square would be 2" finished. If you want a 12" block, each square would be 1 1/2 " finished.
