    pettthefabric, I compared the thread to some others I had that were 50 and it is thinner, don't know why I didn't compare before, it is also a bit thinner than the maxilock thread but that could be my eye site, thanks so much. I think I will use it as bobbin thread on my art pieces instead of using it on a quilt, I don't really want to put the work into one and have the thread give up on it.

    Whatever the system C&C uses you have to have the chart to know what it is on the spool. I haven't looked at a spool of it in several years though. Has it changed?
