I got a new quilting Machine a brother 1500 straight stitch.
I was sewing away Thursday almost done on my quilt top then I hear it this clinking sound I have never heard or seen this happen before the needle up arm sheered right off.
so up to the repair shop 30 minutes away don't know how long it will take to fix it so sad I did finished the top on my
spare machine but it was just not the same :-(

Sorry that happened to you. Fortunate that you have the spare machine. My spare now lives with my DBF in upstate NY so I'd be stuck!

After having my workhorse Bernina in the shop, not once but twice in the last couple months, I have never so appreciated having a back up....Always thought it was a luxury, and now realize it is a necessity for our sanity.....
