Checked out thousandsofbolts.com vendor and was wondering if anyone has purchased material from them and if so was the material ok and was the color on the computer screen pretty close to the color purchased? I am trying to find a nice backing material for a memory quilt which has many colors on in the quilt. I saw a few that I liked but not sure about the colors. Any suggestions?

I have ordered from them a few times and have never been disappointed. Great quality and the color is definitely like pictured. I think they even tell you the predominent color family to be safe (like peach or green).

I have used them for years and get 99% of my fabric from them, their service is A1+++ they stock all the well known fabric manufactures and their fabrics are NOT seconds, they may be end of line or older lines but the fabrics are fabulous, along with their prices and service they are unmatchable.

I only wish they gave commission as I recommend them to everyone

Their fabric scans will look slightly different on your screen, my screen and probably 10 others  It all depends on our individual monitors on how close to true they really are :D:D:D

I have ordered batiks from them several times, which are every bit as wondeful as those in my LQS. They are the only online store I will order from, unless I buy a material I have seen in person, as I have frequently been disappointed from other places by things not looking as I expected.

I ordered some last Sunday and got it Friday. The fabric was better than I expected. I will order from them again.

I've ordered from them and the fabric I got was very nice. But I have a hard time matching colors when buying fabric online so I generally try to stick with the same line. As Amma said, a lot depends on your monitor and computer.

Great fabric, good prices, reliable, fills orders promptly-only thing wrong is that they are not here where I live so I could go there! Probably just as well, I'd be bankrupt!
