Default thread weight

Still learning. I have a juki 2000. I'm experimenting with heavier thread on the top for quilting and I like the result so far. What is the ideal weight for a more "hand quilted" look?

Thanks in advance.

I like 40 wt.
King Tut is my favorite. So many great colors and blends.

The ply is a factor too. 3 ply is thicker then 2 ply.

I also like the look of King Tut (it's the only thread I've used for machine quilting thus far).

My machine loves King Tut thread as well, however it will use others. I think King Tut which is a nice 40 weight thread is a heavier look that may look more hand quilted if you can do that with a machine.
